He has extensive experience in Phase 1 Habitat Survey and National Vegetation Classification including large scale projects such as the Upland Vegetation Survey for Scottish Natural Heritage in 2003. He has also led on large scale mammal surveys such as the Scottish Wildcat Survey for Scottish Natural Heritage between 2006-2009. He currently delivers environmental courses and presentations for a range of environmental topics including windfarm and hydro power schemes with a particular interest in renewables and sustainable buildings. Adrian has director level experience and has appeared at a number of public enquiries as an expert witness. Leadership of environmental professionals, lecturing and academic research are part of his extensive portfolio. Adrian currently manages the Wildcat Haven project over the winter in Lochaber. This is a leading research project to safeguard Scottish WIldcats for future generations (see wildcat section).
